Four sets of friends from university days and beyond now living in three different countries on two different continents, happen to take their vacation within an hour, well for lisa, several hours, distance of each other. Southern Belles meet the Rustle's Girls.

Still catching up, need to do Lake Muskoka, birthday party, Port Elgin before we get to 1st day of school.

Post-regatta but pre-square dance, Emma managed to puncture her face but hospital care was not required. Our friends Ann and Ed cheered us all up with a boat ride on their pontoon boat.

We are really behind, so I am going to try to catch us up to the first day of school (last week JK) and tomorrow (Lizzie and W in nursery school). August long weekend at the cottage for almost 110 years is the big regatta and square dance. While the camera wasn't quick enough to capture the quick footed Daddy M, we were able to catch the kids in the 4 and under race through the water and running races. Check out cousin Molly at the head of the back. She'll be out of the competition next summer!
